Richard, himself!

Richard Hoffman started this company in 1958. He has worked very hard to make the Richard Hoffman Trucking a great company. He has devoted many many years to the business and using his knowledge has done what some would say is beyond remarkable. When he began Hoffman Trucking the company was called H & R Excavating. And later changed to Richard Hoffman Trucking. Then, in 2003, the company was Incorporated and is now Hoffman Trucking Inc.

Richard has built a wonderful and strong foundation for Catherine and the third, fourth, maybe more generations to stand on and he has ALOT to be proud of. Richard is a quiet man. He is enjoys visiting with the salesmen and visitors who stop by the shop. He also likes to be around when the drivers come in caught up on the days happenings. If he is't visiting he's just as happy as can be piddling around the shop.

He has his prides and joy’s, as does everyone. I would say "Old Lizzy" is a 1948 Ford F-1 pickup that has been painted Hoffman blue and completely restored. He gets it out and touring around to make sure that it stays in good running order. Richard turned 83 on the 9th of October and he is still in pretty good health and planning on sticking round for many years to come. Richard has been "Hot Dog" for years so its not unusual to hear that instead of Richard or dad.

He is a very special man to all of the drivers and to the family even more. Richard has 6 grandkids, 15 great grandkids. What a family to watch grow!
